KINGS XI PUNJAB – IPL 2018 – IPL starts form April 7 and it is the eleventh season of Indian Premier League.Fans are desperately waiting for this season because Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals make their comeback after two years its very much exciting to watch then playing again after break.In 2018 season eight teams are participating and they are as follows Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab , Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals,Royal Challengers Banglore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians. Kings XI Punjab is one of the Best team in Indian Premier League 2018 . It was founded in 2008 . KXIP is owned by Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta, Mohit Burman, Karan Paul and it was bought by total of $76 million. This team is under the captaincy of Ravi chandran Ashwin who is an Indian international cricketer and made his Test debut on 6 november 2011 against West Indies however Yuvraj Singh, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Adam Gilchrist, David Hussey , George Bailey, David Miller , Murali Vijay , Glenn Maxwell, Ravichandran Ashwin are the former captions in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011-2013, 2012, 2014-2015, 2016, 2016, 2017 respectively. The home ground where they play their home matches are PCA Stadium , Mohali and Holkar Cricket Stadium. KXIP also became runner up in 2014 and Semifinalist in 2008. Current coach of KXIP is Brand Hodge who prepare the whole team for 2018 Indian Premier League. In previous years it has been coached by Tom Moody, Michael Bevan, Adan Gilchrist , Darren Lehmann, Sanjay Bangar, Virender Sehwag, in 2008-10, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014-2016, 2017 respectively.
